Although I am a devoted film-lover, I will not deny using my iPhone-- even if it feels like cheating-- has its advantages. The one that stands out to me most it convenience. I don't have to develop the film, I don't have to edit it, and I don't have to wait for it. I use Instagram to capture little moments I like the feeling of, whereas with my analog I like to take it with me on bigger occasions.

So here is what my week looked like, through Instagram, and the stories behind them:
I was sitting in the back of my grandfather's truck, looking at how all my possessions had been condensed into 6 bins, when I noticed how lovely the sky looked. I felt oddly at peace, sitting there on the edge of a huge change. I wanted to remember the sun on my spine and the breeze whispering through my hair. So I took a picture.
This would be me in a fitting room, reveling in how good my guy's sweater looked on me. He let me borrow it for our special date, and I wanted so badly to take it with me. Alas, I am not so cruel. But I still liked how I looked in it and how it felt so, well, warm, both in temperature and emotion, so I took a picture.
As I was packing away bins of my belongings, my dog Ringo sat outside with me. Ever-diligent, before the steps of my home. He is quite the guard dog. He looked so sweet and warm, so I took a picture.
This is from another day on my guys' and I's date. Obviously I changed outfits-- this one he bought for me(!). But I also found this great fashion accessory in Target while we were looking for cheap scarves. We found others like it and tried them all on, but this one was my favorite. It was really very funny to me, so I took a picture.
This was taken by me on way home from my guy's house. I was feeling awfully melancholy on the long drive home, but also content, knowing he sent his love with me and all. The sky was overcast (obviously), and my little town was looking a bit how I was feeling. There was a lovely atmosphere, so I took a picture.
Ah, it's me! This day I went to thrift with my father, sporting a new scarf (bought by my guy). I had not put on any makeup before we went out, and felt bare, but when I looked at myself in the mirror realized I didn't look half bad. It gave me a confidence boost, so I took a picture.
Thanks for looking! Hopefully I'll keep Instagraming it up often enough to do this more than once :)
